Labor mobility within Latin America adds a key advance for the Colombian workforce. Through a bilateral mechanism, People who have certification of their work skills in the country will be able to process their direct approval in Chile, which will facilitate their access to formal employment contracts with all legal guarantees.
The process will be led in the country by the National Learning Service (SENA), an entity that will enable the reception of applications from September 21 to November 30.
This call will be completely free and will also apply to workers who do not yet have said prior recognition and need to evaluate their practical knowledge before applying for the benefit.

According to President Abelardo De La Espriella in his X account, “This is the diplomacy of capabilities: ensuring that the knowledge, experience and talent of our people cross borders in a legal and formal manner. Recognizing the talent of Colombians is opening paths for employment, entrepreneurship, productivity and progress”.
The 26 trades that can be certified in Chile
In the first stage of implementation, the program contemplates 26 specific occupational profiles in areas with high demand for trained personnel:

- Gastronomy+
- Hospitality
- Logistics
- Construction
- Electric mobility and energy
This strategy seeks to reduce the barriers to employment that migrants usually face when they do not have documents validated abroad, promoting regional productivity and regulated employment.
