Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 66-year-old Melva Wharwood.
On Sunday, 3 May 2026, based on information received, officers proceeded to Mirabeau, St Andrew, where they discovered the motionless body of Ms Wharwood lying on the ground. The body was examined at the scene by a medical doctor and pronounced dead.

The Commissioner and members of the RGPF extend condolences to the loved ones of Ms Wharwood.
