Videos from security cameras show the exact moment in the one in which civilians dressed in black take control of the entrance to the medium and high security prison of Itagüí, last Wednesday morning in the midst of the exceptional visits that the Petro government enabled for 23 drug lords.
The former prosecutor and councilor of Medellín, Claudia Carrasquilla, who reported that that day an illegal vallenato party took place – with drugs, drinks and women -, published the videos and questioned the Minister of Justice, Jorge Iván Cuervo, whom she called a liar.

“That the doors were not opened in the maximum security prison? Mr. Minister of Justice, I have to deny it with evidence,” Carrasquilla said on his networks.

And he added that what the Minister of Justice says that the doors were not opened in the prison and entry controls were evaded is false: “Yes, Minister of Justice, I have to deny it with these videos because the doors were left wide open for all the guests to arrive at that concert.”
It is already known that several of the hosts are the members of the so-called peace table – for now frozen by the scandal – who are the same bosses of the so-called ‘tarimazo’ with President Gustavo Petro in June 2025 in Medellín.

Carrasquilla pointed out that in the videos it is clear that at least 20 people entered the patio where the event took place, exceeding the number of visits and without registration.
“It is clearly seen how two men, without uniform and dressed in black, take control of the entrance and allow entry without proper registration.“said the councilwoman.
This is coupled with a report confidential. revealed by EL TIEMPO, where it is pointed out that drug deals, extortions and even crimes are monitored from that prison.
The Prosecutor’s Office has had part of that information for more than a year, with names and even license plates of the cars that enter at night for meetings with bosses.
