In the first quarter of 2026, over 1,815 citizens of Tajikistan received work in Russia with the assistance of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan.
As reported at the department’s representative officecitizens were employed in permanent and seasonal jobs in Russian companies by personal application.
It is noted that the work is being carried out on a systematic basis – within the framework of bilateral agreements and memorandums.

In the first half of 2025, the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment summed up its work, noting key achievements in the field of international cooperation, employment of citizens abroad and protection of the rights of migrants, the report notes.
During this period 29 licensed business entities organized a visit and employment of 9,478 citizens of Tajikistan abroad. Of these, 5,648 people were employed through the State Agency for Employment Abroad.
As part of international cooperation, South Korea allocated 800 employment quotas to Tajikistan. According to the EPS (Employment Permit System) system, out of 35 candidates who studied the Korean language, 26 successfully passed the exam.
A new group of candidates was also formed to work in South Korea, while cooperation with the Korean side continues to actively develop, the Ministry of Labor emphasizes.
