MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov received the copy of the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Belarus Julio Cesar Fontes Laranjeira, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the key areas of Belarusian-Brazilian cooperation, paying special attention to ways of expanding trade ties between the two countries and diversifying the range of mutual supplies.
The diplomats reviewed the plan of joint events and outlined steps to flesh out the agenda of bilateral cooperation.
“The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding. The minister wished the Ambassador productive work in our country,” the press service noted.
