“Mutual interest in tourism between Belarus and Uzbekistan continues to grow. In November this year, Tashkent will host the 2nd Belarus-Uzbekistan tourism forum. The Belarusian side will also be represented at the international tourism exhibition Silk Road Tourism, which will be held in Uzbekistan. These events will help establish stable cooperation ties and contribute to increasing mutual tourist flows,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
In July, Minsk will host the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan. “This platform is an ideal opportunity for businesses to review joint projects and prepare packages of commercial contracts. Let us invest in real assets, create jobs, and earn together,” the prime minister said.
The international investment forum is taking place in Tashkent on 16-18 June. It has brought together representatives of global business, sovereign funds, development banks, and governments from more than 95 countries. It is the largest international platform in the region for discussing strategies to strengthen Central Asia’s role in the global investment market. The forum was first held in March 2022. More than 2,000 investors and guests from 56 countries took part. In 2025, the forum gathered more than 8,000 participants, including around 3,000 foreign guests from 97 countries and 450 high-level delegates.
