Awsard Province, June 23, 2026 (SPS) – The Minister of Personnel and Public Service, Salek Baba Hasna, stressed the strategic importance of the National School of Administration as a step in the right direction approved by the outcomes of the Front’s sixteenth conference, calling for its support with curricula and effective teaching competencies so that it can embrace the leaders and hone their skills.
In his opening speech at the National Management Symposium held today in the state of Awsard, the Minister of Personnel and Public Service stressed, “Today we are forced to stand up to review what we have been able to accomplish, define priorities and responsibilities, and direct competencies through modern scientific methods to support building institutions on stable and fair foundations.”
The Minister pointed to the challenges facing the sector, noting the problems of attracting graduates and specialists
The Minister also reviewed the outcome of the work since the last symposium, which resulted in fundamental amendments to the Law on Individuals and Public Service that were ratified by the Sahrawi National Council, in addition to the review of several decrees and laws through a specialized national committee.
This year’s symposium is distinguished by providing academic and educational interventions and lectures focusing on administration, management, and information security, with the aim of enriching the discussion, resolving problems of overlap and ambiguity in powers, and ensuring flexibility in implementing national policies in a way that enhances citizen confidence in state institutions.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Personnel, Public Service and Administration Promotion thanked the state of Awsard, which hosted the event, and the Sahrawi government for its support, as well as the ministry’s frameworks and participants, wishing the symposium success and success in coming up with recommendations that serve the higher interest.
