A mega arsenal was secured by police, military and naval forces in the central area of Veracruz.
The seizure of weapons, grenades and drugs occurred in the municipality of Tierra Blanca, where there was an operation carried out by elements of the State Public Security Secretariat, in coordination with the Secretariats of the Navy, National Defense, as well as the National Guard and the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR).

In three search warrants executed in different properties in the municipality, 108 long firearms, 50 grenades, 2,700 magazines, as well as 51,400 useful cartridges and three grenade launcher tubes were found.

In addition, during the police, military and naval raids they found 22 sacks and 10 boxes with pyrotechnic material, two Razer-type vehicles, a truck and two motorcycles.

And 440 kilograms of herb with characteristics similar to marijuana were seized, which represents an economic impact of more than 11.5 million pesos for the organized crime.
The weapons, objects, vehicles, the seized substance and the three seized properties were at the disposal of the FGR for the corresponding investigations.
