According to Jam Jam Online, Ghazi Hamad, a senior member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in an interview with Al Jazeera, explained the latest status of the ceasefire negotiations and the disruptions of the Zionist regime. Criticizing the performance of the international community, he emphasized the readiness of the resistance to advance the talks, subject to the implementation of the initial commitments.
Referring to the difficulties of the diplomatic path, Ghazi Hamad said: “The path of negotiations is long and very complicated; Especially when your opponent is a criminal, fascist, genocidal state. Israel pursues the policy of murder, murder and crime and ignores all international demands and mediators’ efforts to stabilize Gaza.
This Hamas leader accused Tel Aviv of breaking the agreement and stated: “The Zionist regime deliberately violates the ceasefire agreement in order to defeat all efforts to reach a final agreement. “Since the start of the ceasefire, not a single day has passed without Israeli violations and attacks.”
He stated about the continuation of the talks: “We are interested in continuing the talks and we are in daily contact with the mediators. “We are fully prepared to enter the second stage of negotiations, but the basic condition is that Israel first fully implements the provisions of the first stage of the agreement.” Hamad also added that the international community and the Peace Council should have the necessary power to compel Israel to fulfill its obligations.
Ghazi Hamad, in response to some plans regarding the disarmament of the resistance, emphasized: “Weapons issue is an issue that can be dealt with in a wise, correct way and only within the Palestinian national framework, and this is an internal issue.”
In the end, the senior member of Hamas noted: “All our efforts are focused on preventing the return of war and solving the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. However, unfortunately, the international community is still incapable of punishing Israel for its crimes.
