IND vs AFG ODI: Despite Hashmatullah’s first century, Afghanistan are all out for Prashidh’s 5 runs.

Chennai: In the hot afternoon of Tamil Nadu, the famous Prasidh Krishna started the match with the ball. His heat was so intense that the Afghanistan top order was burnt to ashes. From that Khan, captain Hashmatullah Shahidi (Hashmatullah Shahidi) saved the team by scoring a century to deal with the heat, stress and batting collapse, but Afghanistan could not score many runs (IND vs AFG). With 34 balls left in the innings, Hashmatullah’s team’s innings ended on just 218 runs. Prasiddha Krishna took five wickets in one innings for the first time in his ODI career.

Indian team Having won the first two matches, this match was in the apparent sense of regulation. And in that regulation match, both teams entered the field with a bunch of changes. Prasiddha Krishna, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harsh Dubera for India. After winning the toss in the match, both the captains were expected to decide to bat first. But the fate of the toss went to the possession of Hashmatullah. He won the toss and the Afghans batted first. But disaster struck first.

On this day, in the absence of Arshdeep, the famous Krishna got a new ball. He was virtually unplayable by the Afghan top order batsmen. Krishna sent back Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the first ball of his innings. He did not spend any runs in the first two overs. After that, in his third and fourth overs, Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanat Shah were famous for 11 and five runs respectively. All three batsmen were caught at slip. Then it was the turn of the dervish messenger. He also returned to the dressing room after hitting a big shot against Prasidh. Afghanistan lost four wickets for 36 runs.

In such a situation, Azmatullah Omarzai entered the field to accompany captain Hashmatullah. Both took the lead of the innings together. Moving away from the popular attack, the Indian bowling became less aggressive, and the Afghans began to fight back. Omarzai attacked and Hashmatullah played a bit of a look. Both the batsmen completed their fifties. Century partnership is also completed. However, after completing his half-century, Omarzai had to return to 50 runs by Prince Yadav.

After that, Hashmatullah started building innings with another all-rounder, experienced Mohammad Nabi. They also built a half-century partnership for the sixth wicket. But Nabi got out on the threshold of Afghanistan’s two hundred runs. He was bowled after being defeated by Gurnoor’s pace. After that one wicket after another. Both batsmen were run out in consecutive overs. With the Afghans losing wickets, it looked certain that the team would be all out before the century of Hashmatullah, who was well on his way to a century. But it happens. Rather, after Hashmat’s century, it was he who hit the big shot and caught it on the boundary line and with that Prasidh’s five-wicket haul was completed.
