According to the news of Bakhtar Information Agency; At the beginning of the conference, Minister of Industry and Trade Nuruddin Azizi called the visit of the high delegation of Kazakhstan to Kabul an important step in the development of interactions and economic cooperation between the two countries and said: “Today’s trade exhibition and B2B meetings between the businessmen of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan are a valuable opportunity for the two countries to establish new partnerships, introduce products, share experiences and develop economic cooperation. We believe that the development of economic relations is not only for the benefit of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, but also for the stability, prosperity and connectivity of the region.
Azizi added that currently Afghanistan has created wide opportunities for foreign investments in the fields of trade, agriculture, transformation industries, mining, transit, logistics and energy, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce invites all investors and companies to take advantage of this opportunity and take an active role in Afghanistan’s economic projects.
According to him, in recent years, the volume of trade between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan has been increasing, and from 2022 to 2025, bilateral trade has expanded by nearly 100 percent and 41 percent compared to last year, and it is expected that the volume of trade between the two countries will reach three billion dollars.
Later, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Minister of National Economy “Serek Zhomangarin” also held joint business meetings and trade fairs between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan; He mentioned an important step to further strengthen and develop the economic and trade relations between the two countries and said that the stability of Afghanistan is important for the region and today’s meeting can pave the way for the strengthening of relations between the two countries and the growth of trade.
He added that Afghanistan has sufficient capacity to develop relations and become a connecting pole of Asian countries, and Kazakhstan is also interested in investing in different parts of Afghanistan.
During the meeting, representatives of the private sectors of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan; He talked about the investment opportunities and capacities in Afghanistan and the facilities provided by the Islamic Emirate to businessmen, investors and industrialists and called such meetings and exhibitions important and valuable for marketing the products and products of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
They also shared a series of requests and suggestions for the increase of commercial transactions and the development of industry, and in this regard, they praised the efforts and achievements of the Islamic Emirate, especially the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
At the end of the conference, the participants visited different sections of the joint exhibition of Kazakh-Afghan products and products, in which food items, medicines, various types of carpets, machinery, women’s handicrafts and other export items were displayed.
