Chega promises “victory” to workers, but maintains time banks or contracts | Labor Code

After it became clear on Wednesday that reducing the retirement age is a lost cause, Chega leader André Ventura gave gas to some of his proposals for the employment package and promised workers “the biggest victory in recent decades” with the creation of a shift allowance for one million people, the replacement of three days of vacation based on attendance or the correction of the Government’s “error” in breastfeeding. But in areas such as fixed-term hiring, time banking, outsourcing or reinstatement after dismissal, Chega’s solutions follow the line of the Government’s proposal which, this Thursday, was in debate in Parliament.
