According to the online economy report, citing Zomit, the new update that comes with Khordad 1405 security patch fixes several reported technical defects. Other changes and fixes applied in Android 17 QPR1 Beta 4 include the following:
- Fixed the mouse pointer disappearing on external displays when using a work profile or FLAG_SECURE enabled apps.
- Fixed setting menu crashing when accessing credit provider settings from Private Space.
- Fixed screenshot audio syncing with ringtone that prevented silent recording.
- Fix image jump and shake when recording video with 5x zoom.
- Fixed Back Tap gestures not working on interactive lock screen.
- Fixed severe drop in 3D performance in OpenGL ES apps.
- Fixed connection problem in Wireless ADB and local network dependent applications.
Users can report potential issues through the Android Beta Feedback app on Pixel devices. This tool is available in the applications menu or quick settings.
The new update comes with CP31.260522.006.A1 firmware for Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 series. Other devices will receive CP31.260522.006.
