On Wednesday, hashish was found in the mail to Nuuk.
Warden Aputsiaq Hansen informs that during a routine review of postal shipments, customs have found a shipment containing hashish on Wednesday.
It was about incoming mail to Nuuk, and the police have suspects in the case. The warden does not want to give further details about the find at this time for the sake of the investigation.
Aputsiaq Hansen goes on to say that a stalking case was also opened on Thursday.
The complainant in the case feels harassed by a person who, according to the complaint, has sought out the complainant at the residence, in public spaces, on social media and at the workplace. The police are now investigating the matter.
Vehicle stolen and recovered
On Wednesday morning, the police also received a report of a burglary in Nuuk, and in that connection a vehicle was stolen.
The burglary was reported at 07.37 on Wednesday morning, and it happened in a private residence. During the break-in, unknown perpetrators also took some car keys and stole a car.
The car was found later Wednesday.
In addition to the cases mentioned, the warden reports on a number of alcohol-related cases, which have revolved around disturbances in the home, street disorder, violence, drunks and expulsion of unwanted persons.
