The former Minister of Internal Affairs, Mitko Chavkov, who was convicted in the April 27 case, was released on parole today. The information about MIA was confirmed by the director of Shtip Prison, Dejan Zdravkov.
Chavkov left the penitentiary this morning at around 10 am, after serving part of his prison sentence in Shtip Prison.
He was sentenced to 18 years in prison for terrorism related to the events of April 27, 2017, when there was a violent invasion of the Parliament of Macedonia.
