The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held his regular meeting with the press, which will be broadcast today, Saturday, May 2, starting at nine o’clock in the evening, on television and radio channels.
According to the video published by the Presidency of the Republic, during the meeting, President Tebboune answered questions about the visit of Pope Leo
President Tebboune also spoke about women’s participation in politics, stressing the need for them to enter the political sphere. He also stressed that the administration would not interfere in the substance of the elections.
President Tebboune also returned to developments in the situation in Mali, and to the United Arab Emirates’ withdrawal from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which he described as “a non-event.”
