An expanded meeting of the educational sector in Sana’a Governorate discussed preparations for the launch of the academic year 1448 and the success of the educational process.
The meeting, which included Deputy Governor Talib Dahan, Director of the Governor’s Office, Saddam Al-Fasih, and educational leaders in the governorate and districts, reviewed the outcomes of the central workshop for education officials in the governorates held at the Ministry of Education, and the mechanisms for implementing them at the governorate and district levels, in a way that contributes to enhancing educational and administrative performance and improving the educational process.
The meeting discussed the contents of the Revolutionary Leader’s lecture, which highlighted the development of the values of responsibility in raising children, and the importance of educational initiative without procrastination, with a focus on instilling good morals in the souls of generations.
Emphasis was placed on activating the role of parents’ councils, strengthening community partnership, and implementing awareness campaigns on the importance of education in coordination with official and community agencies and mosque preachers, in a way that contributes to raising awareness of the importance of education and supporting the continuity of the educational process.
In the meeting, Undersecretary Dahhan stressed the importance of integrating roles between various parties to confront current challenges, continuity of education, strengthening the steadfastness of the educational front, and activating school, guidance, scouting and creative activities.
He stressed the importance of caring for gifted students and the children of martyrs, and developing the skills of first-grade students in reading and writing through specialized training programs for teachers and paying attention to the pedagogical and teaching base.
While Al-Fasih stressed the importance of sensing divine control in educational work, stressing the need to address the shortage of cadres by seeking the help of graduates of the Qur’an Academy and volunteers and qualifying them academically in colleges of education and institutes, taking into account the specificity of society by separating males from females in accordance with the religious identity.
