The protests that have been going on for 20 days in Albania have entered a new phase, where, in addition to gatherings in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, the organizers have also demonstrated blockages of the main road axes in Tirana during the dinner marches.
A few days ago, the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, declared that among the protesters there were also people related to the Serbian president Aleksandër Vucic. His statement was met with skepticism by protesters, who considered it a baseless accusation.
However, shqip.com has learned that a Serbian citizen turns out to be an active part of the organization of the protests and especially of the actions to block the roads in the capital.
It is about Alija Madzovic, a young man from Novi Pazar in Serbia, who according to information provided by shqip.comis part of the communication group of the organizers of the protests against the Trump family resort in Zvrnec.
In a message published in the WhatsApp group of the organizers, Madzovic says that he has experience from the protests in Serbia, where blocking the roads was used as one of the main forms of pressure on the authorities. He also offers advice and suggestions on how to organize these actions in Tirana.

The discovery of the involvement of the Serbian student in the coordination of the protests is expected to open new discussions on the influence of foreign actors in the protest movement, especially at a time when the political climate in the country has become tense and the protests have taken on an increasingly political character.
So far there has been no public reaction from the organizers of the protest regarding the role of Alija Madzovic, while it remains unclear how long he has been involved in the organization of their activities in Albania.
In several consecutive appearances for international media, Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that behind the protests are foreign services, especially Iranian ones, according to him, with the aim of destabilizing the country.
