Aoussard Province, April 28, 2026 (SPS) – Aoussard Province is hosting the nineteenth edition of the International Film Festival of Western Sahara (in Sahara), which continues until May 3, and is held in conjunction with the Regional Festival of Popular Culture and Arts. It will feature the screening of films produced by Sahrawi and foreign directors.
Tonight’s opening ceremony will feature a welcome speech by the state governor, member of the National Secretariat, Khaira Blahi, and another by the Minister of Culture, Musa Salma.
This cinematic event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, will feature film screenings, training workshops, and seminars on cinema and human rights, in addition to art exhibitions.
In addition, the committee supervising the event organized an introductory seminar for the delegations participating in the event. (SPA)
