With the support of Akba Leasing, “Prom Group” company acquired 20 newest trucks of Volvo brand, through which Armenian high-quality tomatoes will be exported to Europe already in July of this year.
“Prom Group” company will export from its own economy. In the village of Nor Edesia, Aragatsotn region, the company, with the support of Akba Bank, established a greenhouse complex of the 5th generation with an area of 10 hectares, which is unique in the region due to the high saturation of artificial intelligence. The greenhouse is expected to produce 25-30 tons of premium quality tomatoes per day, which will be exported immediately.
“In order to be able to deliver high-quality Armenian tomatoes to the European consumer, with the support of Akba Leasing, we purchased the newest Volvo trucks, through which the high-quality tomatoes from our greenhouse will be exported to Europe. Since there was a need for export, we decided to create our own logistics capabilities,” says Hayk Hunanyan, founding director of “Prom Group”.

The acquired trucks fully comply with high European standards and are able to transport up to 22 tons of cargo, ensuring their impeccable maintenance on the road. The cars are equipped with the best technical solutions. When purchasing the trucks, special attention was paid to the comfort of the driver.
Akba Leasing has been cooperating with Prom Group for more than 6 years. In the framework of this cooperation, the company was provided with leasing of construction machinery and equipment. “Prom Group” has now been equipped with 20 trucks of the latest generation, which will significantly promote the export of Armenian products,” said Vahagn Shmavonyan, head of Akba Leasing’s supplier cooperation department.

Prom Group is currently carrying out earthworks for the construction of another 10-hectare tomato greenhouse complex. Along with expanding volumes, the company plans to add 30 new trucks to its fleet in the near future.
