Today, Amman University College in the Shafa Badran area organized a national celebration on the occasion of national holidays, which include Independence Day, Army Day, and the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, under the patronage of the university district administrator, Dr. Sakher Al-Moor Al-Haqish, in the presence of the college dean, Professor Dr. Musa Ahmed Al-Saudi, and with wide participation from official, popular, cultural, and academic figures.
The celebration witnessed the presence of North Amman Police Director, Brigadier General Sami Al-Raoud, MP Tayseer Abu Orabi Al-Adwan, and the Director of Education of the University District, Dr. Mazen Al-Haderis, former Minister of Information Dr. Muhannad Mobaideen, and the head of the Jordanian Writers and Writers Union, poet Alian Al-Adwan, along with a number of notables, intellectuals, and those interested in national affairs, with the participation of about 200 people from various segments of society.
The ceremony included a diverse national and cultural program, which included a book exhibition that included more than a thousand titles in various fields of knowledge, in addition to a photographic exhibition that documented prominent moments in Jordan’s history and its national journey, in addition to patriotic poetic passages that expressed pride in the homeland and its achievements, and patriotic songs presented by the artist Rafi’ Al-Sharay’a.
Speakers during the celebration stressed the importance of national events in promoting the values of belonging and loyalty, consolidating national identity, and recalling the sacrifices made by fathers and grandfathers in order to build the modern Jordanian state and preserve its achievements.
They also pointed out that Independence Day, Army Day, and the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt constitute bright milestones in the history of Jordan, and embody a continuous march of construction, giving, and achievement under wise Hashemite leadership.
The celebration concluded in a patriotic atmosphere that expressed pride and pride in these cherished occasions, stressing the importance of continuing to work for the advancement of the nation and enhancing its development and civilizational path.
