Al-Aiban congratulates the leadership on the Kingdom’s top spot in the global cybersecurity index for the third year
His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Cybersecurity Authority, Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban, presented his name and the names of the members of the Authority’s Board of Directors and its employees; Our deepest thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – on the occasion of the Kingdom’s continued position in the world in the “Cybersecurity Index” for the third year in a row, within the Global Competitiveness Yearbook Report for the year 2026 issued by the Global Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
His Excellency appreciated the support, wise directives and continuous follow-up that the cybersecurity system in the Kingdom has enjoyed since the beginning of its establishment by the wise leadership – may God support it – until the Saudi model in cybersecurity has become a successful and pioneering model to be emulated internationally, and the great development that the cybersecurity system has witnessed in record time since the establishment of the National Cybersecurity Authority as the competent authority in the Kingdom for cybersecurity and the national reference in its affairs, and the establishment of the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) as a partner. Strategically and technically for the Authority in building this vital sector.
His Excellency added that the Kingdom continues to maintain first place in the index for the third year in a row. It is an embodiment of its leadership in various international indicators related to the cybersecurity sector, and an affirmation of the proactive and insightful vision of the wise leadership – may God support it – in establishing the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom in a comprehensive manner, both in its security and development aspects, and in its various local and international dimensions.
