The city of Los Angeles witnessed dramatic developments in a criminal case that shook public opinion, as security authorities announced the arrest of rising American singer David Burke, known artistically as ‘D4FD’. This action came against the backdrop of serious accusations related to the murder of the teenager, Celeste Rivas, who was no more than fourteen years old.

Security sources reported that the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery and Homicide Unit carried out the arrest last Thursday. The 21-year-old artist is currently in detention without the possibility of bail, awaiting his appearance before the court to bring official charges against him early next week.

For his part, the victim’s father expressed his great satisfaction with the arrest step, considering it the beginning of the path towards achieving justice for his late daughter. The family confirmed in an official statement that they will continue to follow the case firmly to ensure that all the circumstances surrounding their daughter’s tragic passing are revealed.

The shocking case dates back to last September, when workers at a car towing site in the Hollywood area discovered a foul odor emanating from the Tesla vehicle. Upon careful examination, it turned out that the car belonged to the arrested singer, which opened the door wide to investigations into his relationship with what was found inside it.

Forensic reports revealed horrific details, as the girl’s body was found in an advanced state of decomposition. According to judicial documents, the victim’s remains were dismembered and distributed inside two separate bags that were placed in the trunk of the car, in a scene that investigators described as cruel.

Celeste Rivas had been missing since April of the same year, when her family reported her disappearance under mysterious circumstances. The case remained under investigation for many months before the accidental discovery in a Tesla car led to new leads linking the artist to the incident.

The sources indicated that a grand jury began reviewing the evidence and testimonies related to the case at the beginning of this year. The authorities based the arrest decision on a set of evidence collected over the past months through extensive and complex investigations.

The family will not stop until Celeste’s voice is fully heard in this case and justice is served for our daughter.

On the other hand, the defense team of the singer ‘D4FD’ adopts a position that completely rejects the accusations against their client, stressing his innocence regarding the girl’s blood. The defendant’s lawyer stated that the real evidence that will be presented before the court will prove that his client had nothing to do with Rivas’ death, warning against hasty conclusions.

Ongoing investigations indicate the presence of digital evidence that may play a decisive role in the course of the trial, including text messages and live broadcast records. Through this data, investigators seek to determine the nature of the relationship between the singer and the minor victim before the crime occurred.

The investigations were not limited to the artist alone, but rather extended to include his inner circle in an attempt to decipher the case. One of the defendant’s friends was arrested earlier after he refused to comply with orders to appear as a witness, which reflects the complexity of the network surrounding the incident.

Authorities continue to study multiple hypotheses about how the crime occurred and where it actually occurred before transporting the body to the car. Although a long time has passed since the start of the investigation, the final forensic report has not been fully released to the public, pending the completion of some laboratory tests.

A state of anticipation prevails in artistic and social circles in the United States, awaiting the upcoming court sessions. This case is considered one of the most complex, given the fame of the accused, the young age of the victim, and the horrific way in which her body was treated.

Informed sources confirmed that the Public Prosecution is currently gathering all the threads to present a coherent indictment before the judge. It is expected that the upcoming sessions will witness the revelation of more details about the last hours in Celeste Rivas’ life and how she got to the accused’s car.

The question remains about the motives behind this crime if the charges are proven against the young artist. The jury continues to hear additional testimony that may shed light on hidden aspects of the defendant’s life and relationships that may be related to this painful incident.
