Four minors, three aged 14 and one aged 17 received criminal charges for the cruel attack on the thirteen-year-old girl about which gruesome details were published, i.e. that she was beaten, burned with a cigarette and forced to eat dog excrement.
According to information from the Ministry of the Interior, the girl was attacked on March 27 and 30, and the acts of violence were recorded and published on social networks. The reports were submitted one month after the first attack.
-On 04/29/2026, the Gjorce Petrov Internal Affairs Unit at the SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against four minors (one 17-year-old and three 14-year-old) all from Skopje, due to grounds of suspicion that they committed two crimes of “violence” provided for and punishable under Article 386 of the Criminal Code. In two separate events, on 03/27/2026 and 03/30/2026, the accused physically assaulted a 13-year-old minor, and a video and photos of the events were published on a social network. The criminal report has been submitted to the Skopje Public Prosecutor’s Office and is being processed in accordance with the Law on Justice for Children. During the course of tomorrow (05.05.2026), the SVR Skopje will also file a criminal complaint against the parents of the minors involved – the Ministry of the Interior announced.
They will be liable for the crime of “violence”, according to Article 386 of the Criminal Code. In this article, a prison sentence of three months to three years is provided for causing a feeling of insecurity, and if the crime is committed by two or more people, the prison sentence is higher.
The Left criticizes that the institutions behave as if it were a marginal incident and not an alarm that requires an immediate and serious reaction. According to the information received by Levica, the parent of the minor who leads the violence is a party employee in the Municipality, that is, as they say, a person employed directly by the headquarters of VMRO-DPMNE and for a short period positioned in a higher position.
