In the last few hours, a new episode of intolerance and violence began to circulate on social networks that shook the tranquility of the users who They were in the Portal de Usme, when two men faced each other in a fight with a knife.

According to the information from the different digital platforms, the events would have occurred on Sunday, April 12. At this time, it is unknown what caused the fight.
In the images you can see how a subject carrying a knife attacks another man, who only uses his jacket as a shield to try to stop this person from attacking him.
The situation caused immediate chaos, as the witnesses who were at the entrance TransMilenio, waiting for the vehicle, had to seek shelter to avoid being caught in the middle of the fight.
However, one of the most critical points observed in the video is when the man who was trying to defend himself with his article of clothing loses his balance and falls to the ground; At that moment the screams of the witnesses increased due to the fear of a tragedy.

Some witnesses asked for the presence of the competent authorities, but what can be seen in the video is that none of them tried to control the situation. However, it is unknown how the violent fight ended.
Some of the passengers who managed to get into the transport vehicle told the driver to “start off”, since they did not want to continue witnessing the fight, which for many could end in tragedy.

TransMilenio issued a statement about what happened

We call to rescue values and good behaviors because these types of actions put at risk the lives of those who do it and that of the users who move in our system”the statement reads.

“TransMilenio calls on all citizens to comply with the provisions of the User Community Manual and the National Code of Citizen Security and Coexistence (Law 1801 of 2016), to make appropriate use of the system and to report any situation to the collaborators who are in the stations and portals,” the statement concludes.
