According to the officials, this factory has the capacity to process about 500 tons of chromite coal per day and is equipped with advanced machines.
Officials of the provincial administration, representatives of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and officials of the company participated in the opening ceremony of the said factory.
In the opening ceremony of the factory, Deputy Governor of Logar Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin emphasized on the vast investment opportunities in the mining sector in the province and asked the investors to provide employment opportunities to the people of the region.
Officials of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said that this factory will play an important role in the processing of chromite coal, increasing the value of minerals and economic growth.
According to the information, Logar is one of the rich provinces of chromite and currently the extraction of five other mines is underway.
It is worth noting that the price of one ton of unprocessed chromite stone in the international market reaches about 200 US dollars.
