He gives away scooters, scooters and even cars. The Swiss influencer Steve Merson is known for his exaggerated videos in which he gives out expensive gifts to his followers. According to “Switzerland Today”, he is said to have already invested a quarter of a million in his community. But he apparently lives a much more modest life himself. In an interview with the newspaper, the influencer revealed, among other things, how much money ends up in his account at the end of the month.
Actually, Merson’s income should be in the “five-figure range”, like that Ellaciao advertising agency compared to 20 minutes reported. «Steve Merson probably charges between 6,500 and 10,000 francs per collaboration. This is the current pricing for influencers with a comparable reach,” explained Lorella Liuzzo from the agency. Marlon Giglinger from Netzschreier also gave a similar assessment at the time.
Big heart for his community
When asked how much Merson pays out per month, he simply answers: “1,500 francs.” The person opposite almost can’t believe it and asks. Steve replies: “No, that’s enough for me to live on. My accounting takes care of the rest. I invest practically everything I earn into my community.” He simply saves up for his Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton glasses.
The reason for the huge gift campaigns is that Merson wants to help people. He denies that it’s all about show and explains that his authenticity is exactly what makes him successful. “There are also many other influencers who imitate me and who are now giving away things on social media. But they are not where I am; “They’re not like Steve Merson,” he says.
To the criticism that he only gives things to his community and thus gains followers, he replies: “I’ve also made videos in which I give things away to poor or old people.”
