Before the war, UAE airports, particularly in Dubai, were key hubs for international traffic and among the busiest in the world.
However, the UAE has come under more fire than even Israel during Iranian responses to US and Israeli attacks. Airports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai were also among the targets of the regime in Tehran, completely disrupting air traffic.
According to available official information, 13 people in the UAE were killed and another 224 injured during the war in the Middle East.
