According to Jam Jam Online, there is about a month left until the start of the 2026 World Cup. These competitions will be held from June 21 with the participation of 48 teams in three countries: America, Canada and Mexico.
Now FIFA has officially announced the dates and rules of the 2026 World Cup lists.
– Preliminary lists: each team can be between 35 and 55 players (including 4 goalkeepers).
– Final list: Each team will consist of only 26 players.
– Time of announcing the final list: June 2, 2026 (June 12)
– It is possible to replace the players in the final list only with the players in the preliminary list.
– Substitution is allowed only in case of severe injury or acute illness and before 24 hours from the team’s first game.
– Goalkeepers can be replaced during matches, in case of injury or acute illness.
– Teams can announce their lists at any time, but these lists will not be official until approved by FIFA on June 2, 2026.
