Fresh parsley tea is prepared quickly and easily, and is excellent for expelling excess fluid and cleansing the body.
Take two tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley (leaves and stems).
Boil 250 ml of water.
Place the parsley in a cup, cover with boiling water and cover.
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
Strain the tea and drink it while it is warm.
You can enrich the tea with lemon juice or homemade honey. You can also put fresh ginger. Mint leaves bring a refreshing taste and soothe the stomach.
It can also be combined with green tea for a stronger antioxidant effect.
Parsley tea is a strong diuretic. Up to two cups a day is recommended, and pregnant women should avoid it.
