From day one, we have made a commitment to make safety our highest priority. In the past two years, we have faced numerous security challenges, but we have shown that with commitment, integrity and international cooperation, visible results can be achieved, said this morning the Minister of the Interior, Panče Toškovski.
Toshkovski, who gives an account of the work done in the past two years, mentioned that the Ministry of Internal Affairs strengthened its institutional capacities and advanced the fight against organized crime and corruption.
– We invested in equipment, training and new technologies. Today’s report is not just a presentation of numbers, but a factual confirmation of the work and professionalism of police officers and all employees of the Ministry of the Interior. I am aware that there is still a lot of work ahead of us, security is a process that requires a lot of commitment. Therefore, we will give birth with the same energy, clear vision and determination to build a modern Ministry of the Interior that will respond to the challenges – emphasized Toškovski.
According to him, being a member of the Ministry of the Interior is not only a profession, but an honor and responsibility.
– We remain daily at the service of the citizens and the state. Our goal is a safe country, a stable system and strong institutions – emphasized Toškovski.
The minister reports on the work done at the Training Center in Idrizovo. And on this occasion, referring to each segment of the police operation, he said that there are no untouchables and selectivity, regardless of the function, position and workplace.
