According to the German transcript of the interview, Karadi added: “Some groups are highly skilled… We can deal with them, but we have to take them seriously. Unlike the traditional military sphere, there is no ceasefire in cyberspace.”
He pointed out that the attacks targeted systems used in the critical infrastructure of Israel Central organizations, small and medium-sized companies, and individuals, and he said that law firms and accounting firms are among the smaller institutions that have been subjected to attacks.
He continued, saying: “So far, we have been able to repel attacks on critical infrastructure, and we hope to continue to be able to do so.”
He added that it often ended up wiping out computer systems of companies that were easy to hack, without mentioning any names.
Iran usually denies launching electronic hacking campaigns against other countries, while announcing the attacks it is subjected to.
