Gulf News | During his meeting with the Minister of Transportation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance, the President of Cyprus praises Bahrain’s achievements in consolidating the values of openness, tolerance and coexistence.

A number of members of the House of Representatives confirmed that the Iranian attack that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain with a number of drones represents a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a clear violation of international laws and conventions, stressing that such hostile actions will not undermine Bahrain’s security and stability or the cohesion of its internal front.

The members of the House of Representatives stressed their full confidence in the Kingdom’s ability, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to protect the nation and preserve its sovereignty, thanks to the readiness of its security and military institutions and the solidarity and national unity of the Bahraini people in the face of various challenges.

At the beginning, Representative Jalila Alawi Al-Sayyed condemned in the strongest terms the attack that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain with a number of Iranian drones, stressing that this hostile act represents a serious violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a clear violation of international law, and targets the security of citizens and residents and the stability of the entire region.

Al-Sayed stressed that such attacks cannot be justified in any way, and constitute an unacceptable escalation that is inconsistent with all regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating calm and enhancing the chances of peace, noting that the continuation of these practices reveals an insistence on pursuing a policy of escalation and undermining regional security, instead of adhering to international responsibilities and respecting the sovereignty of states.

She praised the high readiness shown by the security and military agencies and the competent authorities in dealing with this attack, stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s institutional competence and security vigilance reflects its ability to protect the nation and maintain the security of society in the face of various challenges.

She added that the Bahraini people have proven at various stages that their national unity and cohesion behind their wise leadership represent the first line of defense in the face of any threat, and that such attacks will only increase Bahrainis’ adherence to their homeland, confidence in their state’s institutions, and belief in the importance of maintaining security and stability.

For his part, Representative Mohammed Jassim Al Aliwi affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and with the close follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is capable of protecting its lands and preserving its sovereignty thanks to the skill of the wise leadership, the readiness of all security services, and the Bahraini people’s rally around their leadership and their country.

He explained that the Iranian regime’s continued policy of escalation and attacks at a time when regional and international efforts are continuing to reduce tension and establish security and stability, reflects its insistence on undermining the chances of peace, stressing in the same context that the unity of the national ranks will remain an impenetrable bulwark in the face of all challenges, and that the people of Bahrain have demonstrated in various circumstances their cohesion behind their wise leadership and expressed their rejection of all attempts aimed at compromising the nation’s security or undermining its stability.

He stressed the need to deal firmly with all violations that threaten regional peace and security, and to hold aggressors accountable in a way that ensures respect for the sovereignty of states and that such attacks are not repeated.

For her part, Representative Hanan Muhammad Fardan condemned the sinful Iranian attack that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain with drones, stressing that this blatant aggression represents a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, a violation of international covenants and the principles of good neighborliness, and constitutes a targeting of the security of citizens and residents and the safety of civilian facilities.

Fardun explained that this hostile behavior once again demonstrates an approach aimed at undermining the security and stability of the region, and clashes blatantly with all regional and international efforts aimed at establishing calm and peace, stressing that any desperate attempts to undermine Bahrain’s security or undermine its sovereignty will be destroyed in the face of the solidity and cohesion of the home front, the popular rally around the wise leadership, the complete vigilance of the security and military services, and the unity of the national ranks, which will always remain the first line of defense.

She stressed that the current challenges require everyone to strengthen the unity of the national ranks, deepen solidarity and rally around the wise leadership, and stand as an impenetrable bulwark in the face of any threats to protect the nation’s gains and preserve its stability and prosperity.

At the same time, MP Abdullah Hassan Al-Dhaen condemned in the strongest terms the attack that targeted the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing that any violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and security is an unacceptable violation of international law and a hostile act that requires a firm international stance that preserves the security and stability of states and safeguards the safety of civilians.

Al-Dhaen stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, will remain resistant to everything that targets its security and stability, thanks to the cohesion of its people, the vigilance of its security and military institutions, and their high efficiency in protecting the nation and preserving its capabilities.

Representative Basma Mubarak also confirmed that targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain represents a blatant violation of sovereignty, an unacceptable threat to security and stability, and a clear violation of all international norms and conventions.

She stressed that this aggressive approach once again reveals the Iranian side’s indifference to international laws, and confirms its continuation of policies that destabilize the security of the peoples of the region.

Representative Basma Mubarak indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain, with God’s help and thanks to our wise leadership and the solidarity of its loyal people, will remain an impenetrable fortress against anyone who tries to undermine its security or undermine its national gains.

Representative Jalal Kazem Al-Mahfouz also condemned the Iranian targeting of the Kingdom of Bahrain at dawn yesterday, stressing that this attack represents a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and stability, and contradicts all international laws and norms that criminalize attacks on safe countries and threatening the security of their people. !

Al-Mahfouz affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and thanks to the readiness of its security and military services, is capable of protecting its security and defending its sovereignty, praising the high vigilance and national efforts that contributed to dealing with threats and preserving the security of citizens and residents. !

He stressed that such hostile actions do not serve security and stability in the region, but rather contribute to increasing tension and undermining regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating peace and reducing escalation, calling on the international community to take a stance towards any attack targeting the sovereignty of states and the security of their people. !

Al-Mahfouz concluded his statement by affirming that the people of Bahrain stand united behind their wise leadership and the institutions of their state, and that the unity of the national ranks and the cohesion between the leadership and the people will remain an impenetrable fortress in the face of all challenges, asking God Almighty to preserve Bahrain and perpetuate upon it the blessing of security, stability and prosperity.
