His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, attended the reception for the honorees and a dinner party (Golden!Plate!Award), as the chief guest of honor, held by the American Academy of Achievement (American!Academy!of!Achievement), as part of the program of His Highness’s visit to the capital of the friendly United States of America, Washington, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the accompanying delegation, and with the participation of an elite group of leaders, decision-makers, thinkers, scholars, entrepreneurs and prominent international figures.
His Highness delivered a speech during the ceremony, in which he expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Messrs. Wayne Reynolds and Katherine Reynolds for their distinguished efforts and inspiring vision in establishing the American Academy of Achievement, and the pioneering role it plays in honoring achievers, inspiring young generations and enabling them to contribute to creating a more prosperous future. His Highness pointed out that these international initiatives embody the importance of investing in human potential and innovation, and enhance the culture of excellence and building bridges of cooperation between peoples.
His Highness stressed that the established historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America represent an advanced model of strategic partnership based on mutual trust, respect and common interests, explaining that the challenges and changes witnessed by the Middle East region highlight the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between friendly countries in a way that contributes to consolidating security and stability, noting that the Comprehensive Agreement on Security Integration and Prosperity (C–SIPAIt represents an important strategic pillar that contributed to enhancing the prospects for cooperation and developing the partnership between the two countries in priority areas.
His Highness also pointed to the strength of the Bahraini-American partnership and its ability to face common challenges, reiterating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in this strategic relationship, and its keenness to continue joint work for a future of peace, prosperity and development.
