    This Tuesday, June 23, the right-wing candidate Keiko Fujimori reached enough advantage to be the next president of Peru by leading the leftist Roberto Sánchez by 42,097 votes. who has denounced alleged fraud without evidence and has asked to annul the vote abroad.

    Upon reaching 99.79% of the scrutiny of the second round of the presidential elections, Fujimori has 50.11% of the valid votes compared to Sánchez’s 49.88%, with a narrow margin between the two of 42,097 votes that can no longer be reversed, since there are approximately 38,200 votes to be counted for both contenders.
