
Paktika Governor Maulvi Abdul Khaliq Abid said during the opening of the said road that similar development projects will be implemented in the future.
At the same time, Maulvi Muhammad Akbar Adel, head of public works of the said province, said that in the first lot of the project, a 20-kilometer road will be built in a basic and standard manner in a period of 22 months at a cost of 560 million Afghanis.
According to him, this section includes the construction of two large bridges, two kilometers of retaining wall and 70 culverts.
The tribal leaders of the region have expressed their happiness at the beginning of the construction of this road and have requested the government to implement other similar public projects.
It is worth noting that with the construction of this road, the transportation problems of the residents of Argon, Sarubi, Shekin and Burmal districts will be solved.
