According to reports, Ali al-Zaidi emphasized that after the end of the international coalition’s combat mission, the forces of this coalition will not have any more military presence in Iraq.
He added that the capabilities of the Iraqi security forces have been strengthened and the country is now able to fight against security threats independently.
The US-led international coalition began its operations in Iraq in 2014 to fight against the Daesh group and has been supporting the Iraqi security forces since then.
