On June 23, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian left for Islamabad on a one-day official visit to hold talks with high-ranking officials of Pakistan. “Armenpress”IRNA agency reports this.
During the visit, Pezeshkian will meet separately with Pakistani officials to discuss key issues of mutual interest between the two countries. The talks will focus on the latest regional and international developments, ongoing negotiations with the US, and ways to expand bilateral cooperation.
Discussions will also focus on strengthening ties in the political, economic, trade, cultural and regional spheres, reflecting the strategic importance of relations between Tehran and Islamabad.
The visit takes place against the backdrop of Iran improving relations with neighboring countries and promoting regional cooperation.
The Iranian delegation consists of the Ministers of Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Roads and Urban Development, and Agriculture.
The President of Iran left on the plane named “Minab 168” in memory of 168 schoolchildren of the southern city of Minab, who died on February 28 during the attacks carried out by the USA and Israel.
