The Ministry of Youth, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Government Communications, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, and the Tourism Promotion Authority, continues to organize public events to follow the matches of the national football team in the World Cup finals via live broadcast, in multiple locations in the governorates of the Kingdom, within a national atmosphere that brings Jordanians together behind their national team.
These events come within the framework of building on the success achieved by the Roman Amphitheater event, which highlighted Jordanian historical sites as living spaces that combine tourism, culture and sports, and presented to the world an image that reflects Jordan’s cultural richness and the rally of its people behind their national team.
The national team’s match against the Algerian national team will be broadcast on Tuesday, June 23, at six in the morning, in a number of major locations in the Kingdom, including the Great Arab Revolt Square in Aqaba, organized and in cooperation between the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and the Ministry of Youth. It will also be broadcast in Al Hassan Youth City (Gymnasium) in Irbid, and Prince Faisal Sports City in Karak, in addition to more than 60 youth centers distributed throughout the Kingdom.
The organizing authorities confirmed that expanding the scope of viewing events comes with the aim of providing the opportunity for the largest possible number of fans to support the national team, and to enhance community participation in this historic event, in a way that reflects the national rally behind Al-Nashama.
The organizing authorities called on the public to attend early, adhere to organizational instructions, participate in the atmosphere of support and support for the national team, and display the civilized image for which Jordanians are known on various national occasions.
It also called on the fans to wear red to coincide with the national team wearing red uniforms in the match, to form the color that unites the stardom and their fans in a unified national scene that expresses pride and belonging.
