MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the attack on a civilian bus carrying Belarusian citizens, including children, in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Varankov said while commenting on the incident, BelTA has learned.
“We regard this as yet another act of terrorism against the civilian population. We demand comprehensive explanations from the Ukrainian side,” he said.
The spokesman also added that, in connection with this tragic incident, the Belarusian MFA considers it important to note: “We draw attention to the need for strict compliance with the procedures for organizing group trips of citizens, especially children, for recreation and health improvement abroad. We also emphasize the absolute necessity of excluding travel to conflict zones, areas of hostilities, and adjacent regions,” Ruslan Varankov stated.
