Major General Hani Rashad inspected… Governor of Suezthe site of the former East Delta bus stop, within the framework of the governorate’s plan to maximize the use of unexploited assets and raise the efficiency of services provided to citizens, in order to determine its current condition and study the best ways to exploit it to achieve public benefit.
The governor was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor, Ahmed Waziri, Secretary General of the Governorate, Brigadier General Ahmed Alaa, Head of the Suez District, Major General Abdel Azim Mohamed, Director of the Internal Transport Facility, and Brigadier General Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Director of the Parking Supervision Committee.
Development of the former East Delta position
The Governor of Suez directed the rapid preparation of a comprehensive engineering and technical study to ensure the safety of the existing buildings and facilities at the site, in preparation for raising its efficiency and developing it, so that part of it will be allocated as a parking lot and another part as a parking lot, which will contribute to reducing traffic congestion and improving traffic flow in the surrounding area, in addition to achieving optimal utilization of the available space.
Major General Hani Rashad confirmed that the governorate continues to implement its plan to develop unexploited parking lots and areas and transform them into service projects that contribute to improving the quality of life and meeting the needs of citizens, noting the continuation of efforts to inventory and evaluate unexploited assets and prepare integrated visions for their rehabilitation and operation to achieve the maximum possible benefit from them.
During the tour, the governor was keen to listen to a number of citizens, as they reviewed some complaints and demands, and directed the competent authorities to quickly examine them and deal with them immediately, stressing that serving citizens and responding to their demands is the top priority of executive work in the governorate.
