Today, Thursday, the Meteorological Department warned of rain and thunderstorms, along with winds, sandstorms, and a slight increase in temperatures in a number of states across the country.
A level one warning in yellow stated that the provinces affected by rain fall are: Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Blida, Medea, Tebessa, Khenchela, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Biskra, M’Sila, Djelfa, Tiaret, Ould Jalal, Laghouat, Ghardaia, Menia, Saida, El Bayadh, Tissemsilt, Ain Oleander, Tipaza, Illizi, Djanet, Tamanrasset and Ain Guezzam.
The states of Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Blida, Medea, Tebessa, Khenchela, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Biskra, M’sila, Djelfa, Tiaret, Ould Jalal, Laghouat, Ghardaia, Mnaia, Saida, El Bayadh, Tissemsilt, Ain Oleander, Tipaza, Illizi, Djanet, Tamanrasset, Ain Guezzam, Boumerdes, Algiers, El Mughair and Ain Salah form the Thunder.
As for a rise in temperatures, it will affect all of the states of El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes and Algeria.
The states of Saeeda, El Bayadh, and Naama will also witness winds and sandstorms.
In another warning for tomorrow, Friday, the states of Tebessa, Khenchela, Batna, Biskra, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Medea, Ouled Jalal, Djelfa, Tiaret, Ghardaia, Menia, Timimoun, In Salah, Illizi, Ouargla, Djanet, Tamanrasset, and Adrar will witness rainfall.
As for the states of Tebessa, Khenchela, Batna, Biskra, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Medea, Ouled Jalal, Djelfa, Tiaret, Ghardaia, Menia, Timimoun, In Salah, Illizi, Ouargla, Djanet, Tamanrasset, Adrar, M’Sila, and Tissemsilt, thunderstorms will occur.
The heat wave will also affect the states of El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Ain Defla, Chlef and Relizane.
