Colombian actress Ximena Duque responded to those who criticized the video she published where she appears kissing passionately with her husband, Jay Adkins.

“It makes me laugh to read some of the comments. People see much stronger things on television, series, movies and social networks every day, but they are alarmed by a passionate kiss between spouses,” Duque wrote.
Likewise, Duque denied that they had disrespected his daughters and stated that he seeks to normalize showing signs of affection publicly.
“And yes, as many have told me, I probably shouldn’t even clarify anything. It’s my life and I share what I want. But since some people decided to involve my daughters in their comments, I want to make something very clear: we are the first to respect and protect our girls,” he clarified.
“Those who know us know perfectly well the type of family we are. I decided to publish that moment because I think it is also necessary to normalize love, passion and connection within marriage. I hope it has inspired more than one person to go kiss their husband or wife today,” he explained.
