The Minister of Justice chairs the 76th meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and meets with his Sudanese counterpart
His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid bin Muhammad Al-Samaani, chaired the seventy-sixth meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, which was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
In his opening speech, His Excellency stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen judicial and legal cooperation between Arab countries, and following up on the implementation of the decisions of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice. In a way that supports the effectiveness of its work and enhances Arab judicial integration.
The meeting discussed developments in the implementation of the decisions of the forty-first session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, and reviewed the steps taken to activate the Arab Convention to Combat Terrorism and its implementation mechanisms.
The Executive Office discussed a number of draft Arab laws, and reviewed the initiatives and proposals submitted by Arab countries to enhance judicial and judicial cooperation, in addition to a number of topics on its agenda.
On the sidelines of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid bin Muhammad Al-Samaani, met with His Excellency the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Darf, during which a number of issues of common interest were reviewed.
