In Dushanbe they want to seize a child from a woman after a video of cruel treatment

Dushanbe police have prepared materials regarding a woman from whom they want to seize her one-year-old child. This decision was made after a video of her abusing a child was circulated on social networks.

How reported to the Dushanbe Ministry of Internal Affairsthe video shows Mavluda Burkhonova, born in 2004.

    “

“The materials will be sent to the court to consider the issue of removing the child from the mother without depriving her of parental rights. This is provided for in Article 73 of the Family Code of Tajikistan in order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the child,” noted the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The police also established that the woman previously had a criminal record and was prosecuted under Articles 110 and 239 of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan – for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm and involvement in prostitution.

Issues of safety, further care and upbringing of the child are under the control of the relevant government bodies.

The Dushanbe Ministry of Internal Affairs called on citizens to take a responsible approach to the upbringing, care and protection of the rights of their children.

Previously A Dushanbe resident’s young son was seizedwho, according to the police, was actually deprived of primary education. The child’s mother systematically forced him to engage in vagrancy and trade in various places. As a result, the boy did not attend school and did not receive the necessary primary education.

On this fact, relevant materials were drawn up in relation to the woman, and Article 73 of the Family Code of the Republic of Tajikistan was applied, providing for the removal of a child without deprivation of parental rights.

The young son was taken away from his mother and sent to study at the Republican Special School.

Law enforcement agencies urge parents and legal representatives to take a responsible approach to the education and upbringing of children.
