the capital ofArmenia, Yerevanhosted the eighth summit of the community European Policy (EPC)which has brought together forty European leaders and heads of international organizations under the motto “Building the future: unity and stability in europe“. The head of Government, Xavier Spotparticipated accompanied by Secretary of State for Relations with the European Union, Landry shoreand of the ambassador ofAndorra in the EU, Vincenzo Mateu.
The meeting, co-chaired by the president of European Council, António Costaand the Prime Minister ofArmenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has addressed issues such as democratic resilience, energy and economic security, connectivity and regional security challenges. The participants agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation to face the current geopolitical challenges.

spot has taken part in the table dedicated to democratic resilience and hybrid threats, chaired by the president of the French Republic and co-prince of Andorra, Emmanuel Macronand the president of Moldavia, Maia Sandu. During the session, issues such as disinformation, cyber-attacks and foreign interference were analyzed.
In his speech, the head of Government of Andorra has warned that these threats “they are a persistent reality” which requires collective responses. In this sense, he highlighted the cooperation of Andorra with theNational Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE) and has highlighted recent initiatives such as joining the network I HOPE or the creation of a channel to report child abuse content online. He has also done reference to the bill in process that provides for limiting the access of minors to social networks.
In addition, spot has participated in the meeting of the European Coalition against Drugspowered by France i Italyfocused on the fight against illicit trafficking. During the day, he also held bilateral meetings with several representatives, including the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchezthe French president Emmanuel Macronthe prime minister of Liechtenstein, Brigitte Haasand the prince Albert of Monaco.
The summit has counted, for the first time, with the participation of a non-European countrythe canadarepresented by its prime minister. The next meeting of the European Political Community will take place in the fall a Dublin.
