Jordanian state television reported early Sunday morning that sirens sounded in the country, before the Public Security Directorate later announced that a technical defect was the reason for this.
The official TV account on Facebook reported a statement in which it said, “The General Security Directorate noted that a technical defect led to the automatic sounding of alarm sirens this morning while treating a malfunction in one of the sirens… and the technical teams were able to address the defect immediately.”
