The arrest of two persons was carried out by Policeto facilitate investigations related to an investigated case, concerning the offenses of conspiracy to commit a felony, burglary of a building and theft.
Specifically, around 9:00 this morning, a 43-year-old owner of an electronics store reported to the Police that unknown persons broke into the store he runs in Nicosia.
As part of the investigation of the case, testimony was obtained against two persons aged 15 and 17, who were located during the day. Subsequently, the two persons indicated to the members of the Police, a spot where they had hidden 19 mobile phones and a smartwatch.
The two persons were arrested shortly after 1pm for the spontaneous crime of illegal possession of property and were taken into custody, while they are expected to appear before the Nicosia District Court tomorrow for an application for a restraining order.
