The resolutions were adopted by the 11th Legal Court after the actions derived from the 16 raids held on June 3 in different parts of Maldonado.
The leader received almost four years in prison
The main convict was SNMP, 28 years oldidentified by the research as one of the organization’s leaders.
The Justice condemned him as the author of a continuous crime of supplying narcotics in real repetition with a crime of internal trafficking of firearms and ammunition, imposing a sentence of three years and 10 months in prison.
Convictions for drug supply
In addition, the following were convicted of crimes linked to the supply of narcotics:

HAPP (19 years old): two years and two months in prison.

FEFG (25 years old): two years and six months in prison.

AMMF (26 years old): two years and six months in prison.

MJPV (19 years old): two years and three months in prison.

RMBV (44 years): two years in prison.

OACB (41 years): two years in prison.

ANGA (31 years old): two years in prison.

DFPY (45 years old): two years in prison.
The defendants who were left with precautionary measures
The Justice also formalized the investigation against PDFA, 27 years oldfor the alleged commission of a continuous crime of supplying narcotics in real repetition with internal trafficking of firearms and ammunition.
As a precautionary measure, it was ordered preventive detention for 180 days.
Besides, JFGMC, 20 years oldwas formalized for the alleged commission of a crime of possession of narcotics not for consumption.
In his case, the Justice ordered full house arrest with electronic monitoring for 90 days.
A conviction for aggravated reception
In addition to the crimes linked to drug trafficking, the Justice sentenced CMCC, 35 years oldfor two crimes of aggravated reception in real reiteration regime.
He received a penalty of 10 months in prisonreplaced by a probation regime for the same period.
Among the obligations imposed, he must establish residence, report weekly to the corresponding police station, submit to the control of the authorities and fulfill community tasks during the period of the sentence.
The remaining detainees during the raids were released.
