The weather will remain very hot in several regions of the interior of the country due to the Saharan thermal minimumwhich promotes the rise of hot air masses and dry from Sahara. This situation particularly concerns the Oriental, the south-east, the Moulouya valley, the interior of Gharb, the Saïss and the south of the Saharan provinces.
Conversely, the coastal regions and the reliefs of the Atlas will maintain more moderate temperatures thanks to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and altitude. Of the low cloudsaccompanied locally by fog or light drizzle, will continue to form overnight and early in the morning on the northern and central coasts and plains.
On Sunday, the weather will be particularly hot in the southeast, the Oriental, the Moulouya valley, the interior of Gharb and Saïss. THE maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 41 and 46°C in the southeast, the east of the country, the south of the Saharan provinces, the interior of Gharb, Saïss and the Moulouya valley. They will vary between 22 and 29°C near the coasts and on the reliefs of the Atlas, between 35 and 41°C in the Oriental, the Phosphates and Oulmès plateaus, the plains of Tadla and Rehamna as well as the interior of the Saharan provinces, and between 29 and 35°C in the rest of the country.
Of the unstable clouds should also develop in the Oriental, the south-east, the east of the Middle Atlas and the Rif, with a risk of thunderstorms localized. Winds that are sometimes quite strong will blow over the Oriental region, the Atlas reliefs, the southeast and the southern coasts, with a local risk of dust blowing.
Monday and Tuesday, strong heat will persist in the Oriental, the Moulouya valley, the south-east and the south of the Saharan provinces, while a slight drop in temperatures is expected in the northern plains and certain coastal regions. Conditions will remain favorable for the development of storm cells during the afternoon over the Middle Atlas, the Oriental and the east of the Rif, which could give rise to localized showers sometimes accompanied by thunder.
Low clouds and morning fogs will continue to affect the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts as well as the northwest of the Saharan provinces. Moderate to sometimes quite strong winds will blow over the reliefs of the Atlas, the Oriental, the south-east and the southern coasts, with a local risk of dust blowing.
From Wednesday until the end of the week, the weather will remain relatively hot in the southeast and the interior of the Saharan provinces. Low clouds and fog will continue to form near the coasts during the night and the morning, while local stormy showers will remain possible over the reliefs of the Atlas, the Rif, the Oriental and the south-east.
Temperatures are expected to begin a gradual and slight drop compared to the start of the week, while remaining relatively high in the interior and southern regions of the Kingdom.
